The Kner Printing House Collection is housed in Imre Kner’s former residence. The rustic Baroque style house was designed by Lajos Kozma and built in 1925. The country’s most complete printing collection has been managed here since 1970. The permanent exhibition of the museum presents the work of the members of the Kner family and the history of the Gyomai Kner Printing House from its establishment in 1882 until today. You can see books, artistic ball invitations, calendars, postcards, posters, shares, contemporary photos and historical documents made in the printing house. The exhibition is made vivid by book binding and printing machines that visitors can also operate.
