The winning works of the Beautiful Hungarian Book 2019 contest have been published. The awards are always donated by the Hungarian Publishers and Booksellers Association to the artists of the book industry, which has been complemented in recent decades with offerings of special prizes from public dignitaries and individuals. This time, various high-quality publications nominated by publishers could compete for 12 awards. We are very pleased that several parts of Mária BAJZÁTH’s series called Népmesekincstár, which was produced in the Gyomai Kner Printing House, became the winner of the Book Series category. One of EMMI’s (Ministry of Human Capacities) special prizes, which is presented to illustrators, was awarded to Endre SAL’s book: Mi, Magyarok, which has been also placed on the bookshelves thanks to the work of our colleagues.
Congratulations to all the winners and we would like to thank to the publishers Kolibri and Libri for the opportunity to work together!
